CGHero has seen explosive growth

CGHero, a global platform supporting remote CGI production, has seen explosive growth and is set to more than double by the end of this year.

The platform now supports over 4,500 CG artists and 400 studio clients across more than 100 countries worldwide. Specialist skills on the platform now support all major 2D and 3D

CGI production including Animation, AR, VR and VFX work. The platform is also now backed by Epic Games and has since increased their Unreal Engine talent pool by over 650 artists capable of delivering metaverse, immersive and game production on-demand. Support for studios in the Games industry will continue to be a focus for the team this year.

The Sharp Project has been UK home to CGHero since 2018, back then just three people in a single container in RED! As they have grown the team they have also moved up in offices to a double container, then to GOLD 156 and now can be found in BLUE 142, which will provide space for 40 Manchester-based staff. The company is also adding more local support for their US clients with plans to open a US remote office.
