We’re looking to recruit a Senior Videographer with a proven track record in all aspects of video production to join our small but mighty agency based in Salford Quays, just outside Manchester City Centre.
Job Description:
As a Videographer at Marick, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our projects. Your artistic flair and technical expertise will be pivotal in producing captivating video content and visually stunning motion graphics. You will collaborate closely with our creative team to bring ideas to life, ensuring our projects meet the highest quality and creativity standards.
In this role you’ll work on a variety of exciting events projects for renowned corporate brands. You’ll be responsible for leading the events management activities for Marick working alongside our production team to deliver engaging and memorable experiences. You’ll often be required to work on multiple projects at the same time so you must be highly organised and able to manage a workload to tight deadlines accurately and always with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Shooting and capturing high-quality video footage using professional-grade equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices.
- Collaborating with clients or project managers to understand the video requirements and objectives.
- Developing creative concepts, storyboards, and shot lists to ensure effective visual storytelling.
- Setting up and managing equipment on-location, including lighting, sound, and any additional gear needed for the shoot.
- Conducting interviews and recording audio, ensuring clear and high-quality sound capture.
- Editing and post-production work, including selecting and organizing footage, trimming clips, adding transitions, graphics, music, and sound effects.
- Collaborating with the creative team to ensure the video aligns with the project’s goals, brand identity, and target audience.
- Meeting project deadlines and delivering final video content in various formats suitable for different platforms (e.g., websites, social media, presentations).
- Maintaining an organized and efficient workflow, managing files, and archiving video assets.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve video production skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Videographer is crucial, minimum 5 years, with a strong portfolio showcasing your previous work.
- Proficiency in operating professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
- Excellent knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and the ability to edit and produce high-quality videos.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking direction and feedback effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in both shooting and editing.
- Creative mindset with the ability to bring innovative ideas and concepts to the table.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work on-site or remotely, depending on the project requirements.
