Tadah branch out into Podcasts

Like most companies, we at Tadah have had a couple of very challenging years. We are a multi award winning radio production/media agency with a diverse range of clients. Like all production companies however we found that many of our clients had understandably scaled back their media budgets during lockdown.

So we decided to diversify our expertise and look at making and producing podcasts. Podcast listenership worldwide and especially in the UK, is increasing year on year and the majority of media agencies now have podcast advertising as part of their campaign strategy.

We were delighted to win a couple of awards in 2021. We won Best Host (Audio UK & Audio Production Assoc) and Best Independent Podcast (The Radio Academy ARIAS). We collaborated with Ellie Hamilton on the podcast Tales From the Tannoy, produced Talking Inclusion – a podcast about inclusion and diversity in the workplace, created and produced The A-Z of Manchester with ex-Fall drummer Simon Wolstencroft as well as The Boy Who Sat By The Window with ex drag queen ‘Dusty O’ David Hodge (featuring his friend Boy George and Dame Joan Bakewell).

We always aim for the highest quality audio so production took place at a variety of locations; including the excellent facilities at 80Hertz at The Sharp Project, studios in London, Hull and Manchester.

We are looking forward to expanding our current portfolio of exciting podcasts in 2022 and have a number of new projects currently in development and to continued collaboration with other companies at The Sharp Project.

In other news . . . we also continue to work on various radio, video and film projects and have recently worked with the fantastic guys at EY3 on a social media campaign for home cleaning brand Fabulosa. We have also written a screenplay that is currently at the casting stage.
