BECTU: Getting In and Getting On in the Creative Sector
Looking to climb the career ladder in TV, Film and Theatre? BECTU will be holding a social event to set you on the right track.
The aim of the evening is to network with other creatives and listen to advice from industry support specialists. You’ll come away full of ideas and new information about the various routes into a creative career.
The Q&A panel wil be:
- Leona Buchanan – Producer (C4’s Supershoppers; C4’s Tricks of the Restaurant Trade);
- Leanne Fairbrother – ScreenSkills
- Tom Clarke – SharpFutures
- Tania Basile – BBC Talent Manager
- Karen Boardman – Arts Council
A free drink will be provided to each attendee. There will be a raffle during the social for BECTU members and any new joiners on the night.
This Q&A/networking session is aimed at those who are 35 or under and/or in their first year in the media & entertainment industry.
This event is being held as part of BECTU’s Young Workers Month. Anyone 35 or under who signs up to BECTU during September will get a special new joiner rate of £5 p/m for the first year. New joiners and existing members get the chance to win one of our mystery raffle prizes!
