BECTU: Freelance Meet Up

Freelance Meet Up is a networking and Information event aimed at BECTU Freelance members and prospective members to find out more about production in the North West, network with other freelance and guest speakers.

We have 2 brilliant guest speakers who will join us on the evening:

We will be joined by Margaret Burgin, ScreenSkills, who will talk about the new development of the agency across film and TV, and opportunities for new entrants, career development for existing freelance, and bursary and training programmes. This is a good time to find out what is on offer and where to access support.

We will also be joined by National Official, Paul Evans, who will talk more about the PACT agreement across the sector that protects members conditions and payments. This is a crucial agreement and one that BECTU is looking to extend to large broadcasters.
