WFTV ‘Women In Tech’ w/ PRO MOTION HIRE
WFTV are very excited to be holding our first ‘Women in Tech’ event up North with our friends at Pro Motion at The Sharp Project.
NAB is the largest film, broadcast equipment conference in the world, covering all types of equipment, streaming, and satellite technology – if it’s in the film or digital world it will be there. For those of you that can’t make fly off to NAB in Vegas, we are lucky to have Pro Motion give you a brief presentation on all of the new kit, the latest trends, and what kit we will see being used in the next six months – fresh from the NAB showroom floor.
Not only that but Pro Motion will be providing you the opportunity to get your hands on the latest lenses, discuss options, and look at what solution works best for what shot and compatibility.
Lenses are an integral part of any shoot, giving directors and DoP’s creative control whilst also offering practical solutions. Anamorphic, Vintage, Telephoto, Primes, Fisheye, B4 Mount, PL Mount there are endless options. There will be a variety of cameras and lenses for you to play with on the night, including:
· Zeiss Superspeed MKii Vintage Lenses
· Angenieux Anamorphic Lens
· CP.2 Lenses EF or PL
· Cookes S4is
· EF Lenses
· Zeiss Loxias
Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to get your hands on kit and learn more to help you with your productions.
Wine and nibbles will be served from 18:30 with a prompt 19:00 start.

With a passion for large format digital cinematography focussing on lenses and colour, she is now Facilities Director at Pro Motion Manchester. This passion translates to sharing all of her knowledge and love of equipment with everyone through training and events.
