Award winning Manchester PR agency Bird Consultancy has relocated from its City Centre office in Manchester to The Sharp Project after they were invited to consider moving to the east Manchester creative, digital and production hub.
Having spent 13 years at their offices on John Dalton Street, Bird took the decision to relocate to The Sharp Project to support the agency’s expanding digital offering.
Bird joins an impressive directory of tenants including production companies, digital and web-design agencies and branding consultants. As the only PR agency in The Sharp Project, the team is looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with their new neighbours.
Chris Bird, Chief Executive of Bird, commented: “This move marks an important time for us at Bird. After 24 years in business we are very much looking to the future and putting ourselves right at the heart of the City’s growing digital culture. We’re very fortunate to be located in such a forward thinking digital City. The Sharp Project is truly a Manchester success story.”
Sue Woodward, Director of The Sharp Project said: “It’s great to have The Bird Consultancy, our first PR agency, join us. They’re a perfect fit. Keen to embed themselves into our culture, we’re happy to hook them up with other tenants and the SharpFutures talent pool who can support and develop their digital offering.”
Bird has recently added a number of new accounts to its portfolio of clients, including digital agencies Active Win and Degree53, and facilities management company Sercon. As well as expanding its digital offering, the Manchester agency continues to keep a firm footing in sport and leisure PR with Emirates Old Trafford, sportswear retailer Sporting Pro, sports brands Kukri and Canterbury, plus family favourite Disney on Ice among its current client list.
