About Tristan Poyser
Photography and visual communication have been at the core of Tristan’s practice for the last 12 years. His analytical approach, with an affinity for clean lines and repetitive elements, has enabled him to specialize within the built environment and architectural photography, working with RIBA award-winning architects. Acting as a consultant for clients such as Three Mobile and NIKE, he has been commissioned to work on the concept to delivery of photographic and video based solutions, for fast paced experiential marketing campaigns and targeting social media.
Alongside commercial commissions Tristan is working on Recording the Landscape and Automation two projects that observe the way society interacts with the environment. Recording the Landscape documents potential Fracking sites around the UK over time, whilst Automation looks at mass tourism in China’s Jiuzhaigou National Park, in the Szechuan Province, a UNESCO world heritage site. Both projects use photography and sound to extend the senses beyond the photograph.
