Orton’s Manchester Writers Circle

Creative writing with mindfulness, led by Tom George

On Thursday 5th July we are hosting the regular monthly meet up for the Orton’s Manchester Writers Circle.

The group is for screenwriters, poets, authors, playwrights and songwriters from across Manchester and beyond – if you are interested in developing your writing then you’re welcome to attend by registering via Meet Up.

Joining the group on this occasion is writer, teacher and artist Tom George who will be hosting a session for the group focused around mindfulness in creative writing.

In the past twenty years Tom has done approximately 2,500 music and poetry performances and participated in countless creative projects as an event organiser, video maker, magazine editor, journalist and workshop leader.

If you are interested in developing your writing then you are welcome to attend by registering via Meet Up.

If you want to come along and just listen in then you are more than welcome too as we don’t insist that everybody reads.

Places are limited to make sure there is time for everyone to read out if they want to and to keep discussion focused on the writing.
