Manchester Cares Meet Up
On Thursday 9th March, we will be hosting a Social Club for Manchester Cares, a charity that brings together young professionals with their older neighbours (over 65s) to offer support and friendship. They aim to reduce loneliness and isolation among older and younger neighbours alike, to improve wellbeing, connection and power, and to bridge the gaps across social, generational and digital divides.
Colin Boulter of Neilson Reeves Photography who is based at The Sharp Project, will be talking to the group about his latest projects happening around Manchester, and offering a workshop on ‘Using your Smart Phone Camera’.
If you are an organisation that would like to share your skills or to host a talk/workshop, please contact events@thesharpproject.co.uk. If you would like to get involved in Manchester Cares, contact 0161 2017 0800 or lauren.banks@manchestercares.org.uk
