Inspiring New Talent

Education
Education is at the very heart of The Sharp Project’s ethos. It’s one of the reasons the project was built – to inspire a whole generation of young people in our city region. We want to be the place they come to when they set up their first business. We’re not a school, but we are a vehicle that educators can use to inspire their students and deliver their curriculum. We’ve got lots of ideas in the pipeline so keep in touch to find out about our latest developments. We want to send young people out into the workplace with an armful of real life projects under their belts. We’ve already run a design competition with local schools and you can see the results here
How I got started
People working in the creative industries come from all kinds of different backgrounds – and many of them have already come through the doors of The Sharp Project. Some have followed a well-established career path, others have changed direction along the way – but few of them have followed a traditional academic route.
